The contest is as follows: make a cblog titled “Podtoid MGS,” then record yourself saying some variant of the phrase, “shut the fuck up, Chad,” as any Metal Gear Solid character(s) you choose.

Don’t be any meaner to Chad than “shut the fuck up,” though — this is meant to be good-natured ribbing with a grin and a hug, not balls-out maliciousness.

As far as sonnets are concerned: from now on I’m going to put potential sonnet themes in the pre-show posts, so if you feel like writing one then we’ll read it on air. As it stands, the next three weeks will be full of Brilliam’s wonderful poems about the Podtoid members — after that, pretty much anything based on our show theme will be up for grabs.

Dinosaur Gentleman: If anyone actually makes a game fitting some or all of the provisions Jim and Aaron describe in the latter half of the podcast, we’ll do something for you. I dunno what, yet, but it’ll be something cool. Maybe you can ask us to do something and we’ll do it, maybe. I dunno. I just want a “shit in a bowler hat then put it on a dinosaur’s head” game mechanic.

If you only listen to one Podtoid episode ever, make it this one. I think I totally jinxed us when I was talking about, y’know, delays when soliciting requests for questions this past weekend. It’s just like when a girl puts out on the first date, and the guy never calls her again because he’s already made his conquest. See, the Podtoid is like a beautiful woman, who you can’t just bang one night and then forget about. No, you have to buy her things, maybe cars or expensive watches, and you have to meet her parents before you’ll ever get close to her theoretical, electronic bajingo. Mama raised us right, y’heard?

Today, we bring you the special E3 Wrapup Edition of Podtoid. I’d like to tell you what went on, but since I spent the entire week feeding the Destructokids and making sure they got to school on time, I can’t. After all, someone has to keep the home fires burning while everyone else galavants all around Los Angeles, cheating on me with god-knows-who and catting around until god-knows-when.

I promised myself I wouldn’t cry, but mother always warned me against getting involved with a robot. “They’re shiftless. Just like the Jews!”, she’d say. Mother was stunningly racist, but she as also right. I swear, if I find one more lip-print on Aaron’s metallic collar, or see another video of Colette like the one I was forced to watch yesterday, I swear I’m f***ing leaving!
