Wait, what’s with this sequence of events? It’s MY birthday, but YOU get the treat! Yes, it’s time for another edition of The Podcastle, where we desperately try and tie the show into the whole “New Year” thing that people love so much, even though it’s just the passing of hours and utterly meaningless.
We had so many questions asked of us that we were able to fill an entire second half answering your various queries that were all somewhat about the “change” from 2007 to 2008. Also, we really, really bullied Wardrox in this one.
So sit back, pour yourself a glass of sherry, and whatever you do — DON’T READ WARDROX’S BLOG!

Jim, I was rather disappointed to hear the lack of volume supplied to your brilliant impressions of Skeletor. Keep up the good work.

Stop insulting Wardrox and talk about relevant UK related things instead.
Everyone knows Wardrox sucks already! ;D

a) ‘Lauren’, Amiga Power once postulated that 73% was the lowest a games magazine could give a game before the publishers got pissed off and withdrew advertising/free games and so on. This didn’t stop them regularily awarding games 3%, however. (and getting ‘owned’ by the publisher, natch)
cf. http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/FourPointScale

b) ‘Jim’ - There’s an ‘amazing’ remake of Wizball that’s recently been released. http://retrospec.sgn.net/game-overview.php?link=wizball Its spot on and just as fucking impossible as the original. If you don’t talk about it in the next Pod Castle, I’ll cry.
c) Wardrox - I checked, the bible does infact mention Jesus turning water into Airwolf and beating the Devil and his Airwolf.
